When you open the software for the first time and entered the Product Key, it will ask for the Folder Location that you want it to use as it’s primary File Storage location. Once you have entered this mandatory setting information, Brilliance File Organizer will save this location information internally and will create necessary folder
You may want to migrate you copy of Brilliance File Organizer along with your Files to a different computer for different reasons. Perhaps you have bought a new laptop, or perhaps unfortunately your previous computer crashed. NOTE: In a normal situation, one Brilliance Product / License Key allows you to install and use Brilliance File
Open Seetings window from File Organizer main window or from menu->Tools->Settins. Note the “File Storage Directory” you previously saved. Create the intended new folder that you want to use as the new “File Storage Directory”. Browse to your previous location using “My Computer”, copy “FileOrganizerFileStorage” directory from inside your previously saved “File Storage Directory”.
IMPORTANT: When installing, ungrading or reinstalling etc, please consult installation instruction provided in the Readme file or from Brilliance’s website as there may be new instructions that is available only with the newer versions or in the website. You must uninstall previous version of Brilliance File Organizer if you want to install a new version or upgrade to a new version. Click on “Uninstall File Organizer” and follow on screen installation. Or, depending on your Windows Operating System version, open Control Panel->Programs & Features. Select “File Organizer” from list of programs and Uninstall.
